Currently in the U.S. for an official visit, Saudi Space Commission (SSC) Chairman Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha held a number of meetings with CEOs of U.S. space companies to exchange experiences and increase joint capabilities. Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, the acting CEO of the Saudi Space Commission, attended the meetings.
Eng. Al-Sawaha met with Michael Suffredini, president, CEO and co-founder of Axiom Space, Inc., and Peter Canetto, the CEO of Redwire. In the meetings, different themes were discussed, including exchanging experiences and technologies related to microgravity platforms, joint cooperation to localize the satellite industry, and enhancing joint ability to discover space debris.
