    Saudi DGA Governor meets with UN officials in New York

    Chair of the Board of Directors of the Digital Government Authority (DGA) of Saudi Arabia, Eng. Abdullah Bin Amer Al-Sawaha met at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs Liu Zhenmin, and Director of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) Juwang Zhu. The meeting falls within Eng. Al-Sawaha’s tour to the United States of America with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of digital economy, research, innovation, space, and best practices in the field of digital government.

    Saudi DGA Governor meets with UN officials in New YorkAs well as the Kingdom’s worldwide leadership in technological transformation in government and building smart cities based on its ambitious Vision 2030, this vision adapts to the modern challenges of energy and climate to contribute to building a sustainable future. The DGA Chairman also praised the qualitative advancements that the Kingdom is seeing in a variety of fields, such as communication and information technology, as well as its impact on digital government services and quality of life, praising the efforts made to develop digital skills, prepare competencies in the communications and information technology sector, research and innovation, and progress in the field of digital government services.
