ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES / MENA Newswire / — Etihad Airways will increase its Airbus A380 service between Abu Dhabi and Paris Charles de Gaulle to double daily during the 2026 summer season, adding premium capacity on one of its major European routes. The airline said the enhanced A380 operation will run from July 1 to October 24, 2026, as part of a wider schedule that will offer three daily flights between the United Arab Emirates and France.

The expanded schedule will include two daily Airbus A380 services and one daily Boeing 787-9 flight, giving passengers additional options across morning, afternoon and evening departures. Etihad Airways said the increase is designed to serve strong demand on the Abu Dhabi to Paris route while supporting onward travel through its hub at Zayed International Airport. The airline’s published schedule shows coordinated timings in both directions for travelers connecting across its wider network.

From Abu Dhabi, the A380 flights will operate as EY31, departing at 2:35 a.m. and arriving in Paris at 7:55 a.m., and EY33, departing at 2:20 p.m. and arriving at 7:30 p.m. The Boeing 787-9 service will operate as EY35, leaving Abu Dhabi at 8:50 a.m. and reaching Paris at 2 p.m. All listed timings are local, according to the airline’s schedule for the seasonal expansion.

    Paris schedule expands

Return services from Paris Charles de Gaulle will include EY32, operated by A380, departing at 10:40 a.m. and arriving in Abu Dhabi at 7:35 p.m. The second A380 return, EY34, will leave Paris at 9:50 p.m. and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 6:30 a.m. the following day. The Boeing 787-9 flight, EY36, will depart Paris at 3:50 p.m. and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 12:30 a.m. the next day.

The deployment brings Etihad’s flagship A380 cabin offering to two daily Paris rotations during the stated travel period. The aircraft includes The Residence, First Apartments, Business and Economy cabins, adding more premium seats on the route. The Residence is Etihad’s three-room suite on the A380, while the First Apartments cabin offers enclosed private suites. The airline has positioned the aircraft on selected long-haul routes where it operates high-capacity premium service.

    A380 network grows

Etihad Airways resumed A380 service to Paris in November 2024, restoring the aircraft to the French capital after earlier returning the superjumbo to service on selected routes. The airline has since continued to place the A380 on key international destinations, with Paris joining services that include London, Toronto, Tokyo and Singapore. The latest Paris increase adds a second daily superjumbo rotation for the peak summer travel period in 2026.

The Abu Dhabi based carrier said Paris remains one of its most popular destinations, citing demand from passengers traveling between the UAE and France and from connecting markets across Asia, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent. The additional A380 service also increases seat availability between the two capitals during a major European travel season. The schedule confirms three daily flights on the route for the July to October operating window.
